Online Workshop on Electrical Simulation Capabilities in COMSOL Multiphysics
Within the framework of PetrSU implementation of the advanced training program “Design and manufacture of elemental base of modern radio-photonics with nanoscale components”, COMSOL will hold an online seminar “Using COMSOL Multiphysics for electrical AC / DC calculations” on April 15 at 14:00 (Moscow time).
The possibilities of the specified module of the numerical modeling package for conducting research in the following areas will be considered: electrostatics, electric currents and fields, magnetic fields, induction effects and their numerous relationships with each other. In addition, the multifaceted tools of the package allow you to effectively solve the associated problems of electromagnetic heating, electromechanics (including in MEMS applications), magnetohydrodynamics, electrokinetics, etc.
The online seminar will analyze the modern functionality of the module for electrical AC / DC calculations. The main emphasis will be placed on a step-by-step demonstration of work in the package and building a model for calculating a busbar in DC and AC modes of operation, including taking into account Joule and induction heating and assessing conjugate deformations.
The event will be hosted by Sergey Yankin, Lead Operations Engineer at the Russian office of COMSOL.
