Orchids The International School Shines in Celebrating the Joy of Giving at EXPLORICA 2023
Navi Mumbai : Orchids The International School‘s Seawoods branch proudly hosted its annual extravaganza, EXPLORICA, on October 7th, 2023, centered around Unity, Creativity, and Compassion for a day of inspiration.
EXPLORICA, driven by the deeper ethos of the Joy of Giving and renowned for showcasing extraordinary talents in dance, visual arts, music, pottery, sports, and active participation by students and parents, transcended mere entertainment. In an inspiring collaboration with Sahasee Embers, an NGO involved in humanitarian work in and around the slums of Navi Mumbai, Orchids created a platform to celebrate the Joy of Giving – ‘Daan Utsav’, where the act of giving goes beyond material happiness.
This partnership with Sahasee Embers NGO underscores Orchids’ unwavering commitment to fostering positive change in the broader community. EXPLORICA truly marked a significant milestone, not only in showcasing the diverse talents and passions of Orchids’ students but also in instilling a profound sense of social responsibility. The event hosted a set of mosaic activities such as Football matches, Skating, Jumping castle, Toy train, Bowling turf, Playground activities, a Puppet Show, a Magic Show and others.

The highlight of the day for our children was the visit to the Astronomy Lab where the visually stunning celestial movements, transported the children to a different world. Also spending time and interacting with the Orchids students ignited a Ray of Hope in the hearts of our children”.
It has been rightly said that joy multiplies when we share it with others. As Orchidians joined hands with Sahasee Embers for the Joy of Giving Initiative, it demonstrated the importance of giving back to the community and giving to those not as fortunate as us.
