Painting competition organised at Samba under BBBP campaign

Samba: An inter zone school painting competition was today held under the flagship Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) programme, held here at District Headquarter Nandani Hills.

Around 25 students (Upper Primary and Higher Secondary Level) from all five education zones of district Samba participated in this drawing competition and sketched their ideas on the Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao theme.

Chief planning officer, Sukhleen Kour along with other officers adjudged the girl student participants.

The 1st prize was bagged by Niharika Lalotra- HSS Birpur and 2nd prize was clinched by Partiva Dogra of HS Gurha Slathian. The 3rd prize was one by Palik HS Suchani, while 4th prize was shared by Muskan Kalotra- HSS Purmandal and Parul Sharma -GHSS Girls Samba.

Chairman Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme,( Deputy Commissioner) Rohit Khajuria distributed prizes among the amongst the best-adjudged students. He appreciated the students and their parents who participated in the event.
