Participation in the seminar “Topical issues of agricultural business development”

Teachers and students of the “Agronomy” direction of the Department of Animal Science, Fish Farming, Agronomy and Land Management took part in the international seminar “Topical issues of agricultural business development”.
The seminar was held in a face-to-face distance format on the basis of the Karelian Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Agroindustrial Personnel. The partners of the event were Rosselkhozbank JSC, Agerton LLC – Eco-Design Agency, Karelkorm LLC, the Regional Entrepreneurship Support Center, and the Amperia limited liability company.

The audience was presented with the Programs of state support for small and medium-sized businesses in the field of agriculture. The message of A.M. Vishnevsky about the Agro Tech program, which helps to carry out calculations and planning the work of an agronomist and livestock technician on the farm. Director of the Regional Center for the Support of Entrepreneurs A.E. Garmin told how to avoid possible mistakes in business planning. Many questions were asked by the head of the department of border and internal veterinary control and supervision of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Republic of Karelia, the Arkhangelsk region and the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, ON. Larina, who introduced the rules and requirements of the legislation for the sale of agricultural products, including the specifics of working in the FSIS “Mercury” program.

The scientific component of the seminar was presented by G.V. Evseeva and Candidate of Agricultural Sciences T.I. Kirilkin, who presented reports on organic farming and the prospects for gardening in Karelia.
