PetrSU Master’s students took part in the digital projects competition

The traditional competition of digital stories in English, dedicated to his future specialty, was held in early September among the undergraduates of the Institute of History, Political and Social Sciences, the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology and the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism. The competition “Why I Chose This Profession” was organized by the teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​of the Humanities I.Ye. Abramova and E.P. Shishmolina.
First-year undergraduates of the fields of training “Tourism”, “History”, “Pedagogical education”, “Social work” in their works talked about the reasons for choosing PetrSU, talked about the value and importance of their professional choice.

The purpose of the competition was to assist in the adaptation of first-year students to study at the university, help in understanding the importance of choosing a profession and developing the ability to work with digital technologies, as well as in creating digital products that contribute to fostering a sense of belonging to the student community and improving the image of PetrSU in the eyes of students. …

The winners of the qualifying stage were: Roman Sleptsov (master’s program “Design in the tourism industry”), Anastasia Antonova (master’s program “Contemporary History of Russia”), Olesya Khrenova (master’s program “Innovative activities in education”), Yulia Slavashevich (master’s program “Innovative technologies in the management of the social sphere “).

The Audience Award was given to Tatyana Pryazhenkova (master’s program “Innovative Activity in Education”) and Anastasia Shestakova (master’s program “Innovative Technologies in Social Sphere Management”).

The most interesting and creative projects will become vivid examples for digital stories of freshmen in the next years, and can also be used in career guidance events for future applicants of Petrozavodsk State University.
