PetrSU student – participant of the “Eurasia Global” forum
Anastasia Amelina, second-year undergraduate student of the direction “Comparative Studies: Dialogue of Cultures in World Literature”, took part in the international forum “Eurasia Global”, which took place in Orenburg.
The forum was held under the auspices of UNESCO and brought together 500 participants from 77 countries of the world.
For six days, the participants, divided into teams, listened to various lectures from international speakers, ministers, experts from various fields and attended educational tracks in four areas: “Sustainable development: from responsible consumption to social and environmental impact”, “Voice of youth – modern media and communication methods “,” Global youth entrepreneurship “and” Partnerships in education and competence development. A new role for human potential “. Within each direction, the participants discussed and developed their own projects at the international level.
The rich educational program of the forum also included a cultural part: acquaintance with the culture and peoples of the Orenburg region, a visit to the theater and the opportunity to travel to the very heart of Eurasia – to the bridge across the Ural River separating Europe and Asia.
The Eurasia Global Forum presented not only new ideas and impressions, but also a unique experience of intercultural communication, the opportunity to create international youth initiatives and make friends from different continents,
the student shared her impressions.
