Piloting of the UNESCO Parent – Child Communication (PCC) training manual on Sexual & Reproductive Health in Zanzibar
UNESCO is requesting proposals for the piloting of Parent Child Communication Manual on Sexual and Reproductive Health to take place in Zanzibar.
The main objective of this project is to provide support for parents/guardians and other caregivers through acquisition of knowledge and development of attitudes that could help them to increase home-based conversations and communication about sexual and reproductive health and rights with their children.
Specifically, the project will focus on piloting of the PCC Manual in selected communities in Zanzibar to determine its relevance and appropriateness in terms of content, and efficacy in supporting parents and caregivers develop desired knowledge, attitudes and practices.
