Plantation drives held at GGHS Raipur, GPS Upper Gadigarh

 

JAMMU : The Committee constituted by the Chief Education Officer Jammu, Suraj Singh Rathore to monitor the ongoing plantation drive in district Jammu schools today visited Government Girls High School Raipur Satwari and Government Primary School Upper Gadigarh.

Saplings of various types were planted in these schools with the cooperation of the incharge and staff members.

The team requested the school staff to take care of these saplings for the beautification of school and environment.

It is pertinent to mention here that various activities are being organised by the Chief Education Office Jammu as a build up for the 75th Independence Day celebrations on the directions of Dr Ravi Shankar Sharma, Director School Education Jammu and today’s plantation drive was a part of the initiative.
