PO IWMP Udhampur inspects development works

Udhampur: Project Manager Integrated Water Management Programme (IWMP), Udhampur, Sapna Kotwal, along with field functionaries visited Dhandal, Prowa Jagir, Larh Sarsoo and Lower Barmeen watersheds of IWMP-V Barmeen Nallah and inspected various development works being executed there in convergence with MGNREGA, here today.
Project Manager interacted with watershed committee members, villagers and also briefed about the benefits of the scheme.
The beneficiaries lauded the efforts made by the department and requested the Project Manager, for speedy execution of the pending works in the watersheds. She said that IWMP will be provided material and labour component by Rural Development Department. She assured the public of the watershed areas that all pending works will be completed at an earliest.
