Poonch admin hosting Folk Music Programme- Jashn-e-Poonch; DC discusses modalities with stakeholder departments

POONCH : District Administration Poonch is going to host a mega Folk Music programme-Jashn-e-Poonch under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

In this regard, Deputy Commissioner, Inder Jeet today chaired a meeting to discuss the modalities with stakeholder departments here at conference Hall of DC office.

At the outset, District Culture Officer Rajouri/Poonch, Dr. Alam Dar discussed in detail the preparations to be made for smooth conduct of the event.

It was decided in the meeting that the programme will be organised on October 16, 2021 at Dakbunglow.

The Deputy Commissioner stressed on close coordination among all stakeholders for smooth conduct of Jashn-e Poonch.

Detailed discussions were held with regard to preparation of cultural items, security, sanitation, and Medicare at the venue.

The Deputy Commissioner directed different departments to display banners, hoardings, stalls of different government schemes, i.e; Handicraft, Handloom, Agriculture, Swachta, beti bachao beti padhao, Covid appropriate behavior, etc to educate the people.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Abdul Sattar; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Basharat Hussain; ASP, Liaqat Chowdhary; CEO Tourism, Dr. Mohd. Tanveer, besides all the concerned officers.
