Practice at the Open Air Museum of Stone

Students of the Department of Tourism, together with the head of the practice, Anna Ivanovna Belan, visited the village of Meliorativny as part of their practical training at the Department of Tourism.
In the village of Meliorativny there is an exhibition space “Museum of stone in the open air”. The author of this project is Victor G. Nosevich. He is the initiator of many cultural and educational projects in his village.

The Stone Museum began its work in June 2020. Viktor Grigorievich began collecting rocks and minerals characteristic of Karelia last spring. The museum contains rocks, specifically, boulders from the territory of the Meliorativny village and other places of our region.

Viktor Nosevich spoke about the creation of the museum, the attitude of local residents towards it and the prospects of the project.
