Prof. Jae-Wook Jeon’s Team Won an Award in Driving Image AI Learning Datase

Prof. Jae-Wook Jeon’s team (Team Name: Automation Lab.) of the Semiconductor System Engineering Department at SKKU’s College of Information and Communication Engineering ranked first in object division and second in object detection at the 2020 Artificial Intelligence Learning Data (Driving Image AI Learning Dataset) Online Contest held on December 31, 2020.

Another team of Prof. Jae-Wook Jeon (Team Name: Sim tobulyi) was also ranked second in the online hackathon competition held online on December 29, 2020.

The contest, organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the National Information Society Agency, and the Korea Automotive Technology Institute, proposed ideas for task discovery, problem solving, and commercialization using data sets for self-driving and evaluate their excellence, creativity, and appropriateness of utilization.
