Programme under BBBP organized at DIET Training Institute, Anantnag

ANANTNAG : A district level felicitation program was today organised under the banner of ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ (BBBP) campaign in which more than 150 participants were felicitated.

The awardees competed in different competitions held both in offline and online mode. Female toppers of 2021-22 annual/ regular Board examinations were also felicitated.

On the occasion, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Anantnag, Gulzar Ahmad Bhat was the chief guest on the occasion.

District programme officer ICDS Peerzada Zahoor, Chief Education Officer Mohammed Sharif, District Education and Planning Officer, Mohammed Yusuf Jan and HoD DIET, Rifat Sarosh the faculty of DIET and the staff from ICDS Anantnag also attended the event.

A Colourful Cultural programme and Traditional Kashmiri Rouf by the students of GGHSS Ranibagh and girls from Govt. Higher Secondary Scho Batangoo was the highlight of the event. A debate competition among the girl students from different schools of district Anantnag was also organised.

At the conclusion of the programme Chief Guest felicitated the girl students.
