Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw releases Annual report on Environment Sustainability 2020-21 in New Delhi

Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today launched the Swachhta Pakhwara 2022 and released the Annual report on Environment Sustainability 2020-21 in New Delhi. Ministry of Railways is observing Swacchata Pakhwara from 16th September to 2nd October 2022.

Speaking on this occasion, Ashwini Vaishnaw said, cleanliness has become the mission of people’s live under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He said, the Prime Minister has made politics a tool to serve the society wherein service, governance, and welfare of poor are the priorities. Talking about the Ministry of Railways’ Swachhta Pakhwara, he said, focus will be laid on Swachhta, service for TB patients, and a mega blood donation drive during this 15 days drive.

The annual report on Environment Sustainability 2020-21 is a comprehensive document highlighting the steps taken by Railways to promote green and clean energy. This report brings out Railways’ effort towards net zero emission.
