Ramban: CRPF distributes free medicines, Covid kits at medical camp
Ramban: CRPF 187th Battalion, today organized a medical camp here at village Govindpura, Maitra, under its Civic Action Programme.
Commandant, R.B Gupta, formally inaugurated the camp in presence of Dy. Chief Medical Officer, Dr Iqbal Bhat; Second-in-Command R.L Meena; Assistant Commandant, Rajeshwari; Sarpanch Mohinder Singh and several prominent citizens of the area.
During the camp, locals of Maitra village were provided free medical checkup by Joint team of doctors from the Health Department, Ramban, and CRPF including Dr. Bhupendra Singh, Dr. Aditi Sharma, and Dr. Faizal Waheed. Free medicines were also provided to the beneficiaries.
Further, the doctors briefed the participants about COVID-19 infection, seasonal and common diseases and precautionary measures with focus on changing lifestyle for good health. Meanwhile COVID-19 kits were also distributed among the people.
While interacting with media persons, the Commandant said that CRPF has taken this initiative under its Civic Action Programme, besides building mutual understanding and confidence between CRPF and the public. He also appreciated the role of the Health department to make the camp successful.
Later, the Sarpanch and people of village expressed their gratitude towards CRPF for this social service.
