Red Ribbon Club, GPGCW Gandhi Nagar organises Mask Making Contest under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

JAMMU : The Red Ribbon Club, Government P.G. College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, in association with J&K AIDS Control Society, H&ME Department, Jammu, J&K UT organised an intra-college Mask Making Contest under the Azadi Ka Mahotsava under the patronage of Principal, Dr. Sangita Nagari.

As one of the most striking lifestyle changes resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic is the mandatory use of face masks and the college students evinced active participation in the event by making different types of handmade masks. This Awareness campaign was organised for implementation plan for New India @ 75. The Participants were judged by Dr. Meenakshi Bandral, Associate Professor, Department of Zoology and Neelam Thapa, Assistant Professor, Department of English. Ila Verma student of semester 2nd clinched first position, Sonia Devi of semester 2nd secured second position and third position was bagged by Nikita Rani of semester 2nd from GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu. The winners will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs. 1000/- , Rs. 750/- and Rs. 500/- respectively.
