Review of big projects implemented by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Pragati Portal
Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will review major development projects implemented in the state every month. The Chief Minister reviewed the schemes in progress on Pragati portal today. During the previous tenure, the Chief Minister used to review the schemes on this portal. Starting again from today, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan resolved the issues being faced in the implementation of the schemes. This process will be done every month. This will speed up the implementation and completion of the schemes on time.
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the major projects in progress in the state should be completed within the time limit with the help of big government projects and private sector. The concerned government departments should provide necessary approvals without any delay and no compromise should be made with the quality of work. Quick payment of compensation amount should be ensured to the people affected by the project.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing the progress of Public Health Engineering, Energy and Mineral Resources Department, Bandol Group Water Supply Scheme, Gorakhpur Group Water Supply Scheme, ADB-3, Green Energy Corridor Project for Renewable Energy, Suliyari Coal Mine Project and Amelia Coal Mine Project established in Singrauli district. Those who took part in the meeting were Mineral Resources, Labour Minister Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh, Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar and Minister of State for Public Health and Engineering Shri Brijendra Singh Yadav, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Public Health Engineering Department Shri Malay Srivastava, Principal Secretary Forest Shri Ashok Varnwal, Principal Secretary Energy Shri Sanjay Dubey, Principal Secretary Public Works Department Shri Neeraj Mandloi, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Shri Manish Rastogi, Secretary Shri M. Selvendram and Secretary Mineral Shri Sukhveer Singh.
BandolGroup Water Supply Scheme of Seoni district
The Bandol group water supply scheme in Seoni district costs Rs 237 crore 57 lakh. In this, tap water will be supplied in 206 villages. Instructions were given to complete it by 31st March 2021 after seeking necessary approvals. Up to 75 percent work of the scheme has been completed.
Gorakhpur Group Water Supply Scheme of Rajgarh district
The Gorakhpur group water supply scheme in Rajgarh district costs Rs 161 crore. Under this scheme, tap water will be supplied in 163 villages. Under the scheme, 89 percent work has been completed. Instructions were given to complete the scheme by 31st March 2021.
ADB-3
Instructions were given to complete the Madhya Pradesh Transmission and Distribution System Upgradation Project, costing Rs. 1786 crore, by June 2021. 98 percent of the project has been completed. The work is being done by Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Limited in collaboration with Asian Development Bank.
Green Energy Corridor Project for Renewable Energy
The project is to generate 5800 MW of energy through solar energy, wind energy, small and micro hydro power and biomass based schemes. The scheme costs Rs 2100 crore. 90 percent work has been completed. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that this project is very important for Madhya Pradesh. He directed to ensure that the project is completed on time and with quality.
Suliyari Coal Mine Scheme in Singrauli district
The Suliyari Coal Mine Project has 1298 hectare Suliyari coal block in Singrauli district. Similarly, Amelia Coal Block is of 1627 hectares. In connection with this project, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the award money should be distributed to the affected people soon. There should be no shortfall in rehabilitation and establishment.
