SC/ST/BC Development Corporation conducts awareness camp at Wakura

GANDERBAL : J&K Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes Development Corporation Ltd. today conducted an awareness camp at Wakura, Ganderbal to inform the general public about the welfare schemes of the Corporation.

Large number of the public participated in the Awareness Camp especially target groups viz Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, Handicapped Persons (Male members), Safai Karamcharis, and National Minorities (Male members).

On the occasion Divisional Manager Kashmir, Arshid Majeed Butt, District Manager Ganderbal Mehmood-ul-Haq Gundroo, AAO Kashmir highlighted the benefits of the various Schemes of the Corporation, especially Bank Tie -Up Scheme covering Backward Class Category.

The District Manager of the corporation while giving details of the scheme urged people to avail benefits of the schemes. He laid emphasis on the schemes in view of growing unemployment.

Information brochure, loan application forms were also distributed to the participants for availing soft loan from the corporation in the awareness camp.
