Secretary Floriculture distributes Sports kit among players at Chowgan Ground

Kishtwar: “My Town My Pride” programme of JKUT Government was marked by a series of activities in the Municipal towns of district Kishtwar.
A grievance redress Camp was organized in the town, under the Chairmanship of Commissioner/Secretary Floriculture, Gardens and Parks, Shiekh Fayaz Ahmed wherein he listened to the issues of people and assessed the developmental requirements.
The Camp was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Hanief Malik; Senior Superintendent of Police, Dr. Harmeet Singh Mehta; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Parihar; President Municipal Council Kishtwar, Riyaz Ahmed Zargar; Assistant Commissioner Development, Kishore Katoch among others.
The Secretary also inaugurated the Cricket & Volley ball matches at Chowgan ground and gave away Sports Kits to the teams.
He also inspected the under construction additional 100 bedded IPD building at District Hospital Kishtwar and directed the executing agency JKPCC to expedite the pace of work for its early completion.
The Medical Superintendent, Dr Parvaiz Iqbal Wani informed about the present status of the Oxygen stocks in District Hospital .
He also inspected the site identified for the construction of Solid Waste Management Plant and took stock of various technical issues related to its construction.
He also inspected the Park near Bun Astan and directed the Assistant Floriculture officer to beautify the park with flower beds and plantation of ornamental plants. He asked Chief Executive Officer, Kishtwar Development Authority to install the lights there.
