Seth Anandram Jaipuria School organised parent engagement program – ‘Run For Fun’

Lucknow: With a focus on the inclusive development of students, Seth Anandram Jaipuria School (SAJS), Lucknow today hosted a ‘Run for Fun’ event in the city. As a part of its ‘Parent Engagement Program’, the activity was organised to foster the awareness towards physical health and wellbeing among students and parents. Creating an enriching parent-student relationship, the event conducted in the presence of the chief guest – Mr. Saurabh Yaduvanshi, Sub Inspector, Uttar Pradesh Police.

The 4 km run started from the school and traversed through the parts of Ansal Sushant Golf City. While fathers participated in the run, mothers encouraged their kids as cheer leaders. The chief guest for the occasion, Mr. Saurabh Yaduvanshi motivated the students to adopt a healthy lifestyle to stay focused on their study. He is an international athlete in Triple Jump with a Gold Medal in World Police Games 2009. He has also won a Silver medal in South Asian Games 2010, and a Bronze Medal in the Singapore Championship 2012.

With such events, the school aims to accomplish all aspects of the physical and psychological development of students and prepares them for the daily life challenges. The school’s curriculum strongly focuses on co-curricular activities and experiential learning to make all students lifelong learners. The ‘Run for Fun’ event was successfully concluded under the supervision of school principal, Mrs. Poonam Kochitty along with the support from teachers and other staff.
