Sharda University’s “Milap” Freshers’ Pre-Orientation Sets the Stage for Excellence
Sharda University, a beacon of holistic education, welcomed its newest cohort of students with an immersive four-day pre-orientation program, “Milap.” The event, orchestrated by the Admissions Cell in association with Sharda Skills Department, aimed to equip nearly 600 freshers with essential life skills and cutting-edge technological knowledge. Taking place on the vibrant campus of Sharda University, “Milap” marked the beginning of an exciting academic journey for the students.
At the heart of the event were enlightening discussions and immersive experiences that resonated deeply with the theme of preparing students for the challenges of the 21st century. The highlight of “Milap” was a captivating panel discussion featuring distinguished personalities: Dr. Hari Shankar Shyam, Professor, Management; Mr. Vikas Narula, and Dr. Malika Nanda, Entrepreneur. This illuminating session delved into the life skills crucial for success in the modern world, offering invaluable insights to eager young minds.
The technological frontier took center stage with a comprehensive session on AI Tools, including the intriguing Chat GPT and other advancements, led by the esteemed Dr. Prakash Singh. This session not only demystified complex technologies but also inspired students to embrace the possibilities of the digital era.
A memorable addition to the event was a mesmerizing performance by NCC Cadets, meticulously crafted under the guidance of Lieutenant Yashodhara Raj. The performance underscored the significance of the National Cadet Corps, emphasizing values such as discipline, leadership, and teamwork.
