Sixteen-day Webinar Series

Aligarh, December 8: Renowned human rights lawyers, Tulika Srivastava (Executive Director, Women’s Fund Asia and Niti Saxena (Freelance consultant and former Executive Director of Association for Advocacy and Legal Initiatives) will speak on ‘Discrimination and Gender Based Violence’ in an online panel discussion on December 10, the concluding day of the 16-day webinar series of The Advance Center for Women’s Studies, Aligarh Muslim University in association with the Bharathidasan University and the Indian Association for Women’s Studies (IAWS).

“The ongoing webinar series which began on November 25 to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on the theme, ‘Orange the World: End Violence Against Women Now’ will conclude on the International Human Rights Day on December 10”, said Prof Azra Musavi (Director, Advanced Centre for Women’s Studies).

She added: “The series features webinars from 16 different universities”.
