Small businesses and activities will start with support of Government: Madhya Pradesh CM Chouhan
Bhopal : The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the pandemic like Corona has affected citizens involved in small businesses and economic activities. There is no need to worry. The Government will render all possible help to them in re-starting their self-employment. The government on its own guarantee will provide loan up to Rs. 10 thousand to street vendors, whose sustenance is dependent on these activities. The 7 percent interest on loan will be borne by the Union Government. Banks have been tied up to make this scheme successful. On other hand, citizens involved in these small businesses and activities have also been included under the Sambal Yojana.
The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing the programme held at Abhay Prashal of Indore in connection to Street Vendor Fund, Jeevan Shakti Yojana and Migrant Labourers Employment Scheme. On this occasion, he also inaugurated Rozgar Setu Yojana launched for the migrant labourers. He mentioned that till date, 26 thousand crore have been deposited under various schemes in the bank accounts to give relief to the citizens amidst the Corona crisis. Migrant labourers have also been included in this. Not only this, now people have to pay Rs. 50 instead of Rs. 100 electricity bill and people who were getting bills of Rs. 400 will have to pay just Rs. 100. The MLA Mhow Smt. Usha Thakur, MLAs of Indore Sarvashri Ramesh Mendola, Akash Vijayvargiya, Former MLAs Sarvashri Mahendra Hardiya, Sudarshan Gupta, Principal Secretary Shri Sanjay Shukla, Indore Commissioner Dr. Pavan Kumar Sharma, Commissioner Public Relations Dr. Sudam Khade, Indore Collector Shri Manish Singh and other Officers were present at the programme.
Rozgar Setu to provide work to migrant labourers as per their skills
In the programme held at Abhay Prashal, Shri Chouhan also distributed certificates among the beneficiaries of Rozgar Setu Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Street Vendors and Jeevan Shakti Yojana. During the programme, he presented a job certificate of security guard through Rozgar Setu Portal to Amit Vaghe, who was working in Pune on Rs. 4 thousand monthly salary. Now Amit will get a salary of Rs. 8 thousand per month. Similarly Virendra, who was working in Chhattisgarh also got a job in Indore. Now Virendra will get a salary of Rs. 8 thousand per month. Moreover, Shri Chouhan also gave certificate to Surbhi Doshi under the Jeevan Shakti Yojana. Under the scheme, masks were produced and distributed by Surbhi to the sanitation workers. Likewise, Shri Chouhan presented a cheque of Rs. 50 thousand to Rina Prajapati of Maa Santoshi Self-Help Group. Masks were produced and distributed by her too through the group. The Chief Minister distributed certificates to the beneficiaries of 3 schemes.

The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan inaugurated a song of playback singer Shan by pressing a remote in the programme. He mentioned that Indore will run again on the strength of trust and courage. Kal Swachh Banaya Tha, Ab Swasthya Banayenge. Indore will win. The welcome address was given by the Mayor of Municipal Corporation Smt. Malini Gaur. The Minister for Water Resources Shri Tulsiram Silawat, MP Shri Shankar Lalwani and former Minister for PWD Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya also addressed the programme.
