Spark Minda’s participates at CII’s Conference on ‘Automotive R&D Trends’

New Delhi: Spark Minda, Ashok Minda Group participated in CII’s 10th Edition conference on ‘Automotive R&D Trends’ at Hotel ITC Grand Chola, Chennai. The theme of the conference was ‘Redefine R&D: Regulatory Changes for Sustainable Mobility’.

It was a significant platform to promote our brand image to a wider set of audience belonging to automotive business fraternity in general & customers, suppliers, business partners in particular. Spark Minda was represented by Mr. Krishnamurthy Vaidyanathan, Ms. Sandhya, Mr. Krishnamoorthy & Mr. Yusuf Chikodi.

The prime objectives of the conference was; To serve as a stage for stakeholders from the automotive & allied industrial sectors; To share their expert views on strengthening the base for automotive R&D; Develop a systematic approach to address the key gaps in the R&D domain and Understand & highlight priority areas for developing robust systems & solutions through research & innovation.

Mr. Krishnamurthy, President – EI Labs (EI Labs is a step subsidiary of Minda Corporation Limited, a flagship company of Spark Minda, Ashok Minda Group) was a key speaker on the topic ‘Vehicle Connectivity & Telematics’. The conference was aimed at encouraging debates among the automotive business community on the current scenario of automotive trends in the field of Electric vehicles, connected vehicles & Industry evolution & Digital Transformation.

Various sessions were held on Green Mobility – Future of Vehicles, Increased Competition, New Regulations for Auto Industry, Automotive Industry evolution & digital transformation, Smart & Additive Manufacturing. Also there was a special session with Mr. Philip Dalidakis, Trade & Investment, Innovation & Digital Economy & Small Business Minister for State Government of Victoria, Australia.

The conference indeed proved to be a platform for vast knowledge sharing on ‘Automotive & R&D Trends’.
