SSP inaugurates Women Help Desk at Chanderkote, Ramban

Ramban: Taking swift action on demands raised by the public representatives and prominent citizens during an introductory meeting, Senior Superintendent of Police, PD Nitya has established Women Help Desks at various police stations in the district.

While inaugurating the Women Help Desk at Chanderkote and Ramban, the SSP said that these help Desks shall provide a comprehensive platform to women to highlight their issues before police authorities in a hassle free manner.

Addl. Superintendent of Police, Rajni Sharma, public representatives from MC Ramban, besides several senior officers of the Police Department were present on the occasion.

The SSP informed that Ramban police has initiated a massive drive against social crimes, especially affecting women safety and security besides focusing on the other security-related challenges.
