Stevens Institute of Technology: Stevens Adds 33 Faculty Members for 2022-2023 Academic Year

Stevens Institute of Technology has welcomed 33 new full-time faculty members to its Hoboken campus for the 2022-2023 academic year, part of the university’s ongoing effort to build on its reputation as a home for high-impact research and serve an expanding and increasingly accomplished student body.

These researchers and teachers, recruited from prestigious institutions, bring to Stevens a wealth of knowledge plus teaching and research experience in a range of disciplines. They represent yet another large influx of faculty as the university continues carrying out its mission of applying technology toward innovative solutions to the most challenging problems of our time.

Among the faculty members are Dr. Eve Riskin, who will serve as Dean for Undergraduate Education in addition to joining the faculty as a professor of electrical and computer engineering, and Jennifer Kang-Mieler, who is chairing the Department of Biomedical Engineering in the Charles V. Schaefer, Jr. School of Engineering and Science.
