Students of Amity School Mayur Vihar celebrate the glorious heritage of India during Annual Day Function
Noida: Amity International School Mayur Vihar organized Annual Day Function on the theme “Amitva Prakash- The Eternal Flow of Life” at Amity University, Sector 125, Noida
The theme depicted the celebration of the glorious heritage of our Motherland and the legacy of values at Amity. Students from Class I to V presented an interesting dance-drama play showcasing the rich Indian culture and heritage reflected through the Rivers of India.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sanjay Chaturvedi, Deputy Director of Education (Zone 2- East), Directorate of Education, Government of NCT lauded the vision of Amity to provide holistic development to every student. He advised the students to follow P-3 formula, which is, Planning, Preparation and Presentation, that will help them excel in every situation. Dr. Sanjay applauded the mesmerizing performances by students and said that Annual Day function is a day when the accomplishments of students are acknowledged in front of their families and friends.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr.(Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity International Schools said that Amity thrive towards making students, responsible citizens. She apprised that Amity is committed towards child development by identifying their talent and further nurturing the potential. Dr. Chauhan emphasized on the importance of participation in such programmes which are not just meant for dance and music but provides a platform for learning.
Dr. Priyanka Mehta, Principal, Amity International School Mayur Vihar shared the school report of academic year 2017-2018. She apprised about unprecedented laurels achieved by students and teachers at National and International levels.
