Students of Chitkara bag first prize in National Level Inter-college Culinary competition organized at New Delhi
Chandigarh: Students of Chitkara School of Hospitality participated in National Level Inter-college competition from 22nd to 24th September 2010 organized by Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology at New Delhi. Around 34 colleges all over India and Nepal participated in this magnificent competition. It was a platform where the students got an opportunity to show-case their culinary skills. Food is much more than a source of nutrition; enjoying healthy and flavorful meals are all part of living an Optimum Life. Delivering on that is a constant challenge and competitions like these play a vital role in culinary arts as they continually raise the standards of culinary excellence.
There is no better way for a culinarians to hone their craft than by putting their skills and knowledge to the test in a competitive format and students of Chitkara School & hospitality exemplified professionalism and creativity through this competition.
The exclusive entries in the competition enlivened the admirers. Vishal Pant & Ritika Malik of Chitkara School of Hospitality were declared as winners of R-Pure Culinary Competition and received huge accolades and appreciation from the jury. Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Director General, Chitkara Educational Trust congratulated Mr. CM Bhan, Director, Chitkara School of Hospitality for this great achievement of the school and said these winning streaks are the testimony to the endeavors of Chitkara to touch the peaks of excellence.
