Students of IIM Jammu secure the first runner up position at Tapmi International Bloomberg Olympiad

Jammu: The student team at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) secured the 1st Runner-up at the prestigious “Tapmi International Bloomberg Olympiad 2022”. This was the seventh annual edition of this competition, jointly hosted by Bloomberg and the TAPMI Institute. A total of ninety-one teams from India and abroad, including the teams from the top b-schools such as the IIMs, University of Wisconsin, University of Southampton, NMIMS, and SIBM participated in the event. The event was judged by Industry experts from top companies.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Barnali Chaudhary, Chairperson, Student Affairs, IIM Jammu said, “It’s a matter of great pride for all of us at IIM Jammu to have secured the first runner-up position at Tapmi International Bloomberg Olympiad. I would take this opportunity especially to congratulate these budding managers of tomorrow for this incredible feat, I am sure this is just the beginning and there is more to follow.”
The winning team consisted of Mr. Apoorva, Ms. Bhavya, and Ms. Deeepshikha of MBA Batch 2020-22 from IIM Jammu. They were awarded prize money of Rs. 50,000. The seventh edition of the International Bloomberg Olympiad 2022 was conducted in three knockout rounds.
