Students present path-breaking ideas at AIMC Annual Showcase

New Delhi: Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC) successfully concluded the 4th Edition of its ‘Annual Showcase: Brand Case Study’ at its Apeejay Dwarka Campus. This was an opportunity for the students to push their boundaries in terms of thinking skills to come up with holistic Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) strategies and campaigns for selected brands in certain hypothetical situations.
The campaigns were judged and critiqued by media stalwarts including Anuj Dayal, Executive Director, Corporate Communication, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), Sidharth Shukla, Vice President, OgilvyOne, Sujata Soni Bali, Director, Miran Production (Events) and Devendra Mehta, Executive Creative Director, Innocean Worldwide.
Mr Anuj Dayal, Executive Director, Corporate Communication, DMRC, applauded the campaign presented for Delhi Metro saying, ‘‘I am thrilled to see the campaign that AIMC students created for DMRC. The quality of work that was carried out right from conducting research to getting the brief right to creating the PR, advertising and event campaigns, demonstrates the hard work and creativity that they poured into crafting the campaign for our brand.’’

I loved the vigour and confidence with which the campaigns were presented and was simply astounded by the out-of-the box ideas that went into brand selection, product development, research and strategising. Students from AIMC have a strong reputation for building careers in a range of occupations in public relations, advertising and events, with many enterprising students going on to contribute exceptionally within these industries. The Annual Showcase is AIMC’s endeavour to prepare and equip students for an exciting career in the media and communications industry. The Showcase is in line with AIMC’s philosophy of inculcating experiential learning in tune with media industry requirements for students desirous of a career in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Advertising, Event Management and Digital Marketing. Students and faculty from colleges across Delhi – NCR attended the event.
