Success for Geology Students in UPSC Selection
Aligarh : The Department of Geology, Aligarh Muslim University announced that four of its students have secured top ranks in the recent Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examinations for the position of “Assistant Mining Geologist” at the Indian Bureau of Mines, Ministry of Mines, Government of India.
Among the 19 selections, Mohammad Salman (AIR-10), Masood Alam (AIR-13), Ejaj Ahmad Khan (AIR-14), and Rajiullah Khan (AIR-16) have demonstrated outstanding achievement. Prof. Kr. Farahim Khan, Chairperson of the Department of Geology, commends their success as a testament to hard work, dedication, and faculty guidance.
