“Swachhata Special Campaign 2.0” drive held at MA Library

Aligarh: In the ongoing 3 R “Swachhata Special Campaign 2.0” drive held at Maulana Azad (MA) Library Extension Building of Aligarh Muslim University, Dr Hamida Tariq (Renowned Pediatrician) visited all the stalls in the kiosks which displayed hand-made items by five self-help groups of Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojna National Urban Livelihood Mission’s City Mission Management Unit, Duda Aligarh. She appreciated the craftsmanship and lauded their efforts. The handmade goods were purchased by paying through the QR code, thus promoting the Digital India campaign.
In her remark she emphasized that Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, the founder of AMU, always encouraged such schemes and works.

 

Prof Ayesha Munira and Prof Shamim Ahmed from the Adult Education Centre deliberated the event with the trainees of the center and shared their inputs.

A large number of students and citizens participated in the kiosk. Mr Anees Ahmed, Mr Apoorv Agarwal and Mr Sultan Ahmed all from the DUDA office also participated in the drive.
