Swarrnim Startup & Innovation University successfully organised the 2nd edition of Vocal for Local 2.0, to provide fillip to the local vendors of Gujarat

New Delhi: Swarrnim Startup & Innovation University today concluded the 2nd edition of Vocal for Local 2.0. Over 41 vendors participated in this one of the kind event and presented their products and services to the attendees. Eminent dignitaries from Corporate, Government, students and staff members visited the exhibition and boosted the confidence of the vendors by purchasing their products, and promoting their local craft on their social media platforms.

Carrying forward the overwhelming response and huge success witnessed last year, Swarrnim Startup & Innovation University organised the 2nd edition of the event this year, between 28th and 29th October, at Swarrnim University campus, Ahmedabad. The event saw an exquisite assortment of local products and innovative services.

Details about this year’s event – Highlights of key things presented by vendors, highlights of two days.
• Inaugurated by Honourable Provost Kartik Jain and officials/students from Apang Manav Mandal.
• A total of 41 vendors participated.
• 7 startup/incubated projects were flagged.
• More than 1500 + footfalls on both days of the event

Dr. Kartik Jain of Provost stated, “Our vision under the leadership of Honourable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi is to make local use and also promote local produce and boost the economy of that area and country. Vocal for Local initiative will provide employment to the many people of the region and the local market will develop.”

This year’s event witnessed massive footfalls, while several visitors encouraged the event and took over to social media platforms. The response from all the stakeholders was mammoth and very well received. The event was organised in partnership with FICCI Flow, Ahmedabad, Karigar Clinic, Blind People’s Mandal, Apang Manav Mandal, American Corner, Young Indian (Yi), CIMSME etc.
