Tang Youqi sets up a scholarship fund under couple’s name for top PKU students

Peking:  Tang Youqi, a renowned biochemist, educator and pioneer in the field of crystal chemistry and molecular engineering in China, celebrated his 100th birthday. On the same day, with best wishes for young researchers to continue exploring this realm, a scholarship fund was set up under the names of Tang and his wife Zhang Lizhu, a prominent medical scientist pioneering in modern reproductive medicine.

Students with outstanding academic performance in the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering and Health Science Center are eligible for the “Peking University Tang Youqi-Zhang Lizhu Scholarship Fund.”
