Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited partners with KIET Group of Institutions to Establish center of Excellence of KIET-TATA POWER DDL

Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited a leading utility service provider to a populace of over 7 million in North Delhi, signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with KIET Group of Institutions (Krishna Institute of Engineering & Technology). KIET Group of Institutions is recognized as one of the best engineering colleges and is a pioneer in the technical education domain with a strength of 6800+ students. This partnership will enable students to have a detailed understanding on niche topics and identifying innovative solutions pertaining to power distribution sector.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Praveen AgrawalChief HR and IR, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited and Dr. (Col) Amik Garg, Director, KIET Group of Institutions.

The primary aim of this partnership is to provide mutual support to each other i.e. Tata Power-DDL & KIET GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS in establishing a high-quality people repository in Power Engineering Technologies and allied fields. Both organizations will jointly organize standalone single session webinars for engineering students and faculty members on advanced engineering topics to complement the Diploma, B. Tech. and/or M. Tech.  courses. These training session will consists of modules such as theory and video lectures, hands-on sessions and discussions.

Tata Power – DDL will provide opportunities like visit to the discom’s facility and experience their engineering and R&D infrastructure for practical exposure to the various information technologies and operational technologies deployed by the company. The students having research mindset shall also be given opportunities to be part of Functional projects identified through Talent-100 & Talent Highway platforms available at Tata Power-DDL.
