Team of volunteers from the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism helped in organizing the Winter Sports Games for the Segezha Group 

A team of volunteers from the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism (1-3 year students) helped in organizing the Winter Sports Games for the Segezha Group, a group of companies in the Russian timber industry.

The students participated not only in organizing the preparation and holding the event, but also acted as judges of relay races and competitions.

Volleyball on the snow, curling, relay races and cross-country skiing – all these competitions were held at a high level at the RSK “Kurgan”.

The project for the development of sports volunteering has been proposed for inclusion in the PetrSU Social and Academic Leadership Program.
