Thadomal Shahani Centre for Management invites applications for their Certificate in Business English course
Mumbai: As the world’s economies have become increasingly intertwined in recent decades, the need to be able to communicate effectively and succinctly in business has also gained importance. Consequently, fluency in English is a skill set highly sought after by recruiters. The 1-month part-time course provides in-depth training, and is delivered by IELTS-level Corporate English instructors. Bearing in mind the ongoing pandemic, the course is being offered completely online, along with a smartphone-based mobile app designed for an enhanced learning experience. The course curriculum has been developed in association with EduQual (UK) and the British Council, and includes various topics such as English grammar & pronunciation, Personality Development, Group Discussion & Interview Techniques, Email Writing, Telephone Etiquette, Grooming & Body Language, Public Speaking and Presentation Skills. The assessment is carried out using the Pearson Versant test, a standardized evaluation tool, used by a majority of Indian recruiters.
