The Design Village sign an MOU with The Royal Academy of Arts for academic and cultural exchange.

Noida-based The Design Village (TDV) has joined hands with The Royal Academy of Arts (KABK), Netherlands to promote understanding and goodwill, strengthen cultural ties, and broaden student experience and horizons. The two Institutions have agreed to a four-year bilateral international semester exchange to create a clear roadmap for academic and cultural exchange.

The collaboration is set to provide a vision of future innovations and energize the imaginations and thoughts of the students, TDV said in a press communique. The goals of the MoU will be achieved through a plan of action that includes student and staff exchange, student engagement opportunities, workshops, and research & development (R&D) efforts within the design thinking framework.

 

Speaking about the formal association between TDV and KABK, Vatsal Agrawal, Associate Dean of Executive Affairs, TDV, said, “We are excited about this collaboration and look forward to strengthening the future design education together”. This cooperation aims to enhance cultural exchange in the field of art and design.

 

The academy is in The Hague which is one of the oldest art and design schools in the Netherlands and was founded in 1682. Their vision is to educate students to become independent and self-aware artists and designers with investigative mindsets and unique visual and conceptual abilities.

 

Students of TDV are set to benefit from exposure to the exclusive partnership that will provide global opportunities to them.
