The exhibition “Space through the eyes of children” has opened
On April 26, at the Center for Cognitive Development of Children of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of PetrSU, an exhibition of creative works “Space through the Eyes of Children” was opened, dedicated to Russian cosmonautics, the 60th anniversary of Yu.A. Gagarin.
Exhibition curator – N.A. Semenova, senior lecturer at the Department of Pedagogy and Childhood Psychology.
The competition contains 270 works made by children of preschool and primary school age in various techniques: applique, knitting, design, origami, papier-mâché, plasticineography, crafts from waste material, drawing, sewing, etc. space transport, space suit, aliens.
The competition is attended by 33 educational institutions of Petrozavodsk and the Prionezhsky region of the Republic of Kazakhstan, among them: 18 children’s educational institutions (kindergartens No. 8, 11, 21, 45, 70, 83, 88, 90, 99, 114, 117, 120, 121, item Derevianka, item Ladvy, item Novaya Vilga, item Chalna-1, item Shuiskaya) and 15 secondary schools (No. 12, 27, 34, 35, 38, 46, lyceum No. 1, lyceum No. 13, boarding school №23, Petrovsky Palace, Derevyankskaya secondary school, Zaozerskaya secondary school, secondary school in Meliorativny village, Sheltozerskaya secondary school, Shuiskaya secondary school).
The works are presented in 5 age categories: children 4-5 years old, children 6-7 years old, children 8-9 years old, children 10-11 years old, collective work.
The jury of the competition will sum up the results at the end of May, in each of the nominations 3 winners will be determined, as well as an audience award will be awarded. Students and teachers of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology take part in the voting for the best works of the exhibition. Each exhibitor will receive a certificate.
