The Karelian Souvenir ensemble is a laureate of the Treasures of Karelia competition

The international competition “Treasures of Karelia” took place for the first time in an online format.
The competition was organized by the creative association ” Triumph ” , a member of the UNESCO International Dance Council (CID UNESCO) and was supported by the Elena Obraztsova International Academy of Music, the innovative educational platform ARTCOMPASS and the St. Petersburg Academy of Postgraduate Education.

Young talents from the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Belarus, as well as from all corners of our vast country: from the Murmansk region to the Krasnodar Territory, from the Crimea to the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, performed on the virtual stage of the fabulous project.

The leading figures of culture and arts took part in the expert council of the competition. Laureates of prestigious creative awards, members of famous artels and unions, teachers of legendary creative universities, holders of academic degrees.

The folk dance collective of Petrozavodsk State University “Karelian Souvenir” specially for this competition recorded the dance Kulkuset to the Finnish version of the famous song Jingle Bells , for which it received a diploma of the 3rd degree Laureate in the nomination “Folk-stylized dance”.
