Tokyo Institute of Technology: Union of Four Universities Completes On-Campus Booster Vaccinations

Tokyo Tech, Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU), Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS), and Hitotsubashi University have formed the Union of Four Universities in Tokyo since March 2001. As part of this collaboration, we conducted university-based COVID-19 booster vaccinations (third doses) on June 17 at Tokyo Tech Front on Ookayama Campus, targeting members of Tokyo Tech, TUFS, and Hitotsubashi University. TMDU not only provided doctors, nurses, and pharmacists, but also offered its medical expertise in operating mass vaccination sites. We were able to administer vaccines to 781 individuals on the day.
