Two Aligarh Muslim University students qualify Indian Statistical Service Exam

Aligarh : Two students of the Department of Statistics & Operations Research, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) have qualified the Indian Statistical Service Examination conducted by UPSC in 2020.

Nighar Fatima (Batch 2017) and Poonam Chauhan (Gold Medallist BSc 2017 and Gold Medallist M.Sc. 2019) have qualified the said examination. Miss Nighar Fatima got 23rd rank while Miss Poonam Chauhan ranked 33 in the overall merit.

Professor Aquil Ahmed, Chairman of the Department congratulated the students and hoped that the students will bring more laurels in future.
