Two-day ‘Centre-State Science Conclave’ concluded at Science City in Ahmedabad
The two-day ‘Centre-State Science Conclave’ concluded at Science City in Ahmedabad in the presence of Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Jitendra Singh.
Addressing the valedictory session, Mr. Singh said, a dashboard will be created to ensure better coordination between the Centre and the States in the development of science and technology. He also added, dashboard will help States and the Centre to adopt the best practices of other States in the field of science and technology. He asked States to depute a nodal officer for the same. Mr. Singh also talked about establishing Centre-State Science Council.
The Minister said, henceforth, this type of conclave will be held every year in different States. He added that the discussion held during the Conclave will help states to come up with science-based solutions to their local problems.
Gujarat Education Minister Jitubhai Vaghani along with Ministers from various States and Union Territories and a large number of dignitaries, scientists, and students took part in the two-day conclave.
