“Unexplored Karelia” – corners of the native land through the eyes of schoolchildren
The main goals of the project are to familiarize students with the cultural traditions of their people, the formation of their moral values, the development of research skills and presentation skills in a foreign language, as well as the activation of their creative initiative.
The selection of spring video projects was carried out until June 1, 2021. The jury summed up the results, according to the results of which the students of the 3rd grade of the secondary school № 11 in Petrozavodsk, Darina Efimova and Anastasia Arkharova, became the winners. Schoolgirls have prepared a game video “The Valley of Hares” under the guidance of their mentor Anna Aleksandrovna Fulidi, English teacher of secondary school № 11. The students playfully tell about an amazing art object in the open air in Karelia – “Valley of the Hares”. In their video, the schoolgirls introduce the artist Sergei Gapanovich, who carves a wide variety of hares, hares and hares on a rock along the Kola route. The rock already has over 600 images. “Valley of the Hares” is located not far from Petrozavodsk, and everyone can touch modern art,
The value of the project lies in the fact that children, who look at the world and things around them in a different way, find interesting facts, objects and their details, often escaping the attention of adults. They talk about their native land with genuine simplicity, sincere admiration and love! The organizers of the competition heartily congratulate the winners and thank A. A. Fulidi for their cooperation. The video will be posted by the organizers on the YouTube channel
