Universal Business School, Mumbai includes CMAPS (Collaborative Multi-disciplinary Approach towards Problem Solving) module in MBA

Universal Business School, Mumbai has recently included a CMAPS (Collaborative Multi-disciplinary Approach towards Problem Solving) module in their MBA course. This is being offered to students in the first year of the PGDM course and it will support students to get business knowledge from the field experts, with a practical exposure to problem-solving, analytics and technical abilities.

“CMAPS is an extension of our pro-bono consulting program; the module has been crafted to prepare the students to experience first-hand the complex business issues faced by corporations, not-for-profits and start-ups. The projects will be identified by our Corporate Relations team,” shares Tarun Anand, Chairman Universal Business School.

Over 500 corporates are being approached to finalise 60 projects under CMAPS. The PGDM batch of 2023 is 300 students strong; they will be divided into teams of five and the projects will be conducted in two timelines for the academic year 2021-22, starting from 27 Dec 21 to January 29, 2022, and another being April 11, 2022, to May 7, 2022. Projects which can be completed in under 4 weeks will be the priority. “I am confident that the digital nativity of our young minds will bring a fresh and unbiased perspective to the projects,” adds Tarun Anand.
