University of Bath invites applications for Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences Undergraduate Courses

University of Bath has opened its applications for undergraduate courses for 2024-25. Its Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences offers popular undergraduate courses like BSc Psychology, BSc Economics, BSc Politics and International Relations, and BSc International Development with Economics. The University is ranked the 5th best UK University by the Complete University Guide 2024 and is ranked in the top 150 in the QS World University Rankings 2024. Students who wish to start undergraduate study in 2024 should apply via UCAS.

Application Deadline: 31st January, 2024

 

The UCAS deadline is on 31 January 2024 at 18:00 (UK time), students submitting their applications by this date will be guaranteed equal consideration. Applying after the deadline runs the risk that the course may be full. As part of the UCAS process students are expected to subject a personal statement, a teacher’s reference, and other necessary information.

Eligibility Criteria

 

In order to be eligible for undergraduate study at the University of Bath students should first check the entry requirements of their chosen course. Specific academic entry requirements for students taking the Higher Secondary School Certificate (12th Standard) on the CBSE and CISCE boards, A levels, or the International Baccalaureate Diploma are available on each course page. Students studying under different exam boards or taking other qualifications can still apply but should contact Undergraduate Admissions for their entry requirements. Some courses require students to study specific subjects as a prerequisite. Students can also complete an International Foundation Year with the University’s partner organization Bath College first if they do not expect to meet the requirements in time. Students achieving the required grades at Bath College are guaranteed progression to a University of Bath degree.

Applicants must also meet the University of Bath’s English language requirements. The University accepts qualifications such as types of IELTS, Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic), and TOEFL IBT. The exact requirements depend on the course. Students who need to improve their English language skills before starting their studies may be eligible to take a pre-sessional course to reach the required level of English.

Fee Structure

Fees for Indian students studying Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences undergraduate courses starting in 2024 range from £22,800 to £28,800 per year. Students on a placement year pay a lower fee during that year, although the exact fee varies depending on the course. As tuition fees increase annually, it is recommended to budget for an increase of up to 5% for every year of the course. Tuition fees should be paid annually according to the payment terms once students complete online registration each September at the start of the term.
