In Innopolis within the framework of the forum on digital transformation in education, business and state administration Digital Innopolis Days a ceremony of awarding the Main Educational Center of Innopolis University DID Awards was held. UrFU received the award from IPR Media for the contribution to the formation of digital competencies and training of highly qualified personnel in the field of information technology and digital economy. The certificate was presented to Nikolay Khlebnikov, the Vice-Rector for the Development of Academic Affairs.

The university received a grant for the development of educational guidelines in the amount of 50 thousand rubles and a certificate for free access to the first “Digital Library Datalib.ru” until December 31, 2022.

“Since April, we got involved into the work on the formation of Datalib.ru Digital Library and, with the support of Innopolis University, launched large contests for the creation of textbooks. It is important not only to have educational programs, but also to support them with the educational and methodological base that we are responsible for, as a publisher, as a platform. I am sure that the gap related to the shortage of IT specialists, qualified specialists with applied digital skills will soon be bridged,” said Natalia Ivanova, Head of IPR Media Group.
