University of Mannheim Gets StudyCheck Award 2023 As Most Popular University In Germany

The students are very satisfied with the University of Mannheim. No other university was rated as well as the University of Mannheim on the online portal StudyCheck last year. For this she received the “Most Popular University” award at the StudyCheck Award 2023.

For the ranking, the portal compared all the ratings of their respective degree programs published there by students in the 2022 calendar year. The University of Mannheim achieved a score of 9.12/10 in the ranking, making it the best rated university. In the overall ranking of all universities and colleges in Germany, only Hof University did better.

Almost 80,000 ratings from students from 2022 were evaluated for the ranking. Mannheim students submitted 350 ratings. 98 percent of them recommend their studies at the University of Mannheim.

“I am very happy about the award because it is the result of a very honest ranking,” says Uni Rector Prof. Dr. Thomas Puhl. “With StudyCheck, students describe and evaluate their course of study at the respective place of study and thus give prospective students an insight into what the course is really like. The fact that our courses are rated so well shows that we offer a good range of courses, and it is an incentive for us not only to maintain this level of teaching, but also to continuously improve it.”

StudyCheck is an online portal founded in 2013 on which students and graduates can publish reports on their studies. The StudyCheck Award has been presented since 2015. The so-called score value, which is formed by the star rating and the recommendation rate of the students, decides on the placement of the individual colleges and universities.
