University of Tübingen departments represented at Children’s University Research Day

On the Children’s University Research Day, it’s not just about listening, but above all taking part – registration for the 30 workshops is possible online from June 16th
Assembling robots, taking part in an archaeological excavation, examining insects or enjoying homemade ice cream made from liquid nitrogen – the Children’s University Research Day is traditionally a highlight of the summer semester. In addition to the lectures at the Children’s University ( https://uni-tuebingen.de/de/62 ), the first Saturday in July is not just about listening, but above all about participating. Children between the ages of 7 and 12 can get to know institutes of the university in smaller events and workshops and do their own research.

Many departments of the University of Tübingen are represented again this year, including biology, chemistry, physics, archaeology, medicine, American studies, psychology and robotics. The complete program of the Children’s University Research Day is available at https://uni-tuebingen.de/de/2626

A total of 30 workshops will be offered on Saturday, July 1st, spread over three time windows (10:15 am, 1:15 pm and 3:15 pm). Registration via the registration links on this website is required in the period from June 16th to 29th and is only possible in this way.
