upGrad, Asia’s higher edtech major, and the not-for-profit focused on rural India – Swades Foundation have announced 100 scholarships in name of each Olympic medal winner – Neeraj Chopra, Ravi Kumar Dahiya, Mirabai Chanu, PV Sindhu, Lovlina Borgohain, Bajarang Punia & players of the medal-winning Indian Hockey Team.

The 100 scholarships will be broken into Gold, Silver & Bronze tiers, and will be given basis the meritocracy of the applying candidates, focused towards empowering the ambitious youth and working professionals of Bharat, at the grassroots across the country who dares to dream big.

Swades is now actively working at the forefront to provide relief and rehabilitation support to the rural communities severely impacted by the recent floods and landslides at Raigad, Maharashtra. So far they have provided relief to over 3000 families across 50 villages affected by the floods.
